Rotorua Canopy Tours offers two unforgettable experiences, the award-winning Original Canopy Tour or the higher and longer Ultimate Canopy Tour. These Canopy Tours are 3 – 3.5 hours, but if you are short on time custom tours can be created to suit your team.

Both tours are set in stunning untouched native forest where you will fly via ziplines, traverse valleys on swing bridges and enjoy the views from tree top platforms. Each tour has a maximum of 10 people, guided by two incredible kiwi guides. If your team is bigger than 10, Rotorua Canopy Tours will run multiple tours that will depart at short intervals. The small group experience helps create a strong bond amongst your team as they encourage each other to step outside of their comfort zone, they learn about conservation and the restoration of the forest together and create lifelong memories – all while having fun!

2. ZORB Rotorua – ball rolling fun!

ZORB offer 4 different ball rolling tracks – the world’s longest zig-zag Sidewinder Track, the smooth ‘n’ fast double Straight Track, MEGA Track - the longest, fastest and steepest track in all the land, and the newest track; Big Air, their latest thrill ride. ZORB allows up to three people in the ball at once. Your team will laugh until their sides hurt as they roll down the hill. 3. River Rats – white water rafting

Another must-do Rotorua adventure is whitewater rafting with River Rats. You can’t go past this iconic water activity - plummet down the world’s largest commercially rafted waterfall with a boat full of colleagues only 20 minutes’ drive from the city centre.

Experience the thrill of white-water rafting on the mighty Grade 5 Kaituna River. Fast and furious, this exhilarating ride takes you through stunning gorge clad with native bush and over the awesome seven metre drop at Tutea Falls.

Fantastic team building as everyone one in the team will need to get involved, working together to navigate the rapids. Although this trip provides full on action, the river is ‘pool drop’ meaning that every rapid is followed by calm water - making it the perfect team activity and suitable for everyone.
